Jun. 10th, 2012 02:30 pm"The D-Gazers are part of ZeXal's new way of dueling--instead of using holograms like in previous series, the D-Gazers wirelessly connect to each other to create a world of artificial reality overlaying the real world, and this is where duels take place. The duelists' duel disks relay the duel information to the D-Gazers, which then show the duel pretty much the same way the holograms did, but with slightly more "interaction" with the real world.
The Arclight family doesn't use regular D-Gazers. Instead, in the case of III, IV, and V, they have a tattoo which forms around the left eye and turns that iris a different color, as if it was covered by colored glass. The tattoos are able to connect with the AR network and other D-Gazers just like any other D-Gazer."

( yeeeeah. because he DEFINITELY needed that power... )
