Jun. 10th, 2012 03:07 pmBecause IV obviously wasn't terrifying enough (hahaha. no, actually, he's really not that bad), he got a brand new power from the Porter based on his deck theme: turning people into living marionettes.
He'll be able to produce invisible strings from his fingers that he can direct to attach to another person and then use to manipulate them like a marionette. The strings have absolutely no affect on the mind, so the victim will be completely aware of this, but they're also extremely hard to break free of. A regular human pretty much won't be able to; an imPort with, say, a fuckton of will-power or super-strength or pyrokenesis will find it difficult but not impossible to break free.
And for the final touch, anyone who can see invisible things will be able to see these strings, and they'll appear to glow red.
Limits:
-He can only use this power on someone within 50 ft of him, and outside 25 ft, it's an extremely draining power to use.
-He can only affect up to two people at a time, one for each hand.
-He can only use this power while his other two powers are active.
-A victim can break free with the right powers or enough willpower. Or the right friends with the right powers.
-He cannot affect the mind, meaning he can't stop someone from yelling at him the whole time (or from mind controlling him right back to get him to cut it out).
-There are probably powers out that that provide an immunity to a power like this?
So, you get another text box of stuff to fill out!

on 2012-06-11 10:02 am (UTC)Would you be up for IV using this power on your character ever? Yes
Does this character have a way of completely resisting a power like this? Nope!
Does this character have a way of breaking free of a power like this? Between his webbing, superstrength and overall stubbornness I think he could.

Does this character have a way of completely resisting a power like this? no
Does this character have a way of breaking free of a power like this? yyyyes. Sanji has super-strength so if he can get his legs free, he can break out with some struggle.
Anything else? I'm sure this will remind him of a devil-fruit power somehow and that's why it'll be awesome. Also this may change/upgrade if I have to power-upgrade to include haki.

Does this character have a way of completely resisting a power like this? no
Does this character have a way of breaking free of a power like this? depends on if the strings can be cut by a blade, and if he can realize that something actually has a hold of him and it's not invisible mind powers

Does this character have a way of breaking free of a power like this? I bet the destructive telekinesis part of the Oricalchos could make things interesting but other than that no. Big wimp.
Anything else? FIGHT ME :3

Does this character have a way of completely resisting a power like this? No.
Does this character have a way of breaking free of a power like this? Anya has the same powers as Spidey up there, so her strenght levels are enough to allow her to struggle herself free. Plus she's stubborn as hell.
Anything else? Nope.

Does this character have a way of breaking free of a power like this? Either by phasing through them or by becoming tenser and gaining enhanced strength.
Anything else? Well, I really wonder if she can phase through them XD

Does this character have a way of breaking free of a power like this? This sounds exactly like Legato's 'telekinesis' powers, down to the invisible strings. Canonically Vash has had a heck of a hard time breaking free from such a grip. BUT he has done it. Vash is stronger than a human being. It would take serious desperation on his part to do it, though.
Anything else? Not really.
